The Comedy Get Down Tour, the all-star show featuring Cedric The Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley, George Lopez, and Charlie Murphy is coming to the Joe Louis Arena!

Darryl Lynn “D. L.” Hughley was born in Los Angeles in 1963 and is an actor, political commentator, radio host, and stand-up comedian. He made a name for himself as the original host of BET's ComicView from 1992 to 1999 and then became renowned for playing himself on the ABC/UPN sitcom The Hughleys. He also starred in the 2000 stand-up comedy film (The Original Kings of Comedy) and he’s the host of D. L. Hughley Breaks the News (a comedy news show that aired on CNN). He’s also been a correspondent on The Jay Leno Show on NBC and he was in season 16 of Dancing with The Stars (where he took 9th place). He’s also appeared in many hit films (Inspector Gadget, Scary Movie 3, Soul Plane, and many more) and TV series (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Scrubs, Hawaii Five-0, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and many more). Charles Quinton “Charlie” Murphy was born in Brooklyn in 1959 and is an actor, comedian, voice artist, and writer. He’s Eddie Murphy’s older brother and he made a name for himself as a writer and cast member on Chappelle's Show; the smash hit comedy TV series created by comedians Dave Chappelle and Neal Brennan.
